American actor Johnny Depp jokingly riffs on killing US president Donald Trump during an event held at the Glastonbury Festival.
While giving a talk at the event, Depp appeared to be threatening the US president in a comic way while answering the question of fans who gathered at the festival held June 21-26, 2017.
“I think he needs help and there are a lot of wonderful dark, dark places he could go,” Depp commented on US president, followed by cheers from the crowd.
The American actor continued, “It is just a question – I’m not insinuating anything. By the way, this is going to be in the press... when was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” referring to Abraham Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth, who killed the then-president in 1865.
“I am not an actor. I lie for a living. However, it has been a while and maybe it is time,” Depp added.
John Christopher Depp is an American actor, producer and musician known worldwide for his roles in movies such as ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Public Enemies’.
